wedding puppies!

Nothing melts my black heart faster than puppies. Or in this case, full grown Italian Greyhound sisters that were rescue dogs adopted by my recent wedding clients. That's the bride, Morgan, holding the dogs after the ceremony, by the way. Her yellow wedding dress with green sash rocked. I like when my clients think outside the box, although, that's almost a pre-requisite for hiring me in the first place. ;-)

More on this wedding very soon...

Holga Wedding :: ISPWP Feature

I recently had a Holga Wedding featured on the ISPWP - International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers. This is quite a bit different than my artistic documentary style wedding photography that I feature on Halo Photographic's web site and blog, but I do offer this service as well which you can see on Halo Photographic's sister site at www.erinantognoli.com. It's for the more adventurous, artistic, independent thinking brides and grooms who want something a little different than the norm. :)

This particular wedding was photographed at Newton White Mansion in Mitchellville Maryland. I've photographed there several times for documentary weddings as well as this Holga wedding.  I love it there... it's a photographer's dream venue!

The feature is pretty cool... 25 images, all from this wedding, are displayed along with a little commentary by me.  They're all created directly on the film, printed in the darkroom with real chemicals, and no Photoshop was used to overlap the images. Check it out HERE!

I also photograph bridal and portrait sessions in this style, so if you love the look but can't swing an entire wedding day coverage with the Holga, I would love to talk with you about setting up a portrait session. Drop me a line and we'll chat...

Because this is a new blog and I have yet to transfer a lot of my previous images and experiences here for potential clients to view, I thought I'd list a few of the Washington DC / Maryland / Virginia locations where I've photographed weddings and receptions in the recent years (alphabetized for your convenience!):

You can see a lot of these locations featured in my portfolios on the main part of the web site. The farthest I have traveled for a wedding is India, and I've traveled to numerous other US states for wedding photography as well... but since most of my business comes from the Washington DC metro area I figured I'd list those locations as a priority.

Just because a location is not on this list doesn't mean I haven't photographed there... I may have just overlooked it when I was compiling this list. I've photographed a LOT of places, so it's entirely possible I just forgot to add it. :) Also in addition to this list, I've photographed weddings of all types at numerous private residences. I'm always happy to travel to any location - I thrive on photographing in new (to me) places!
